The College Sustainability Report Card
The university recycles traditional materials in addition to batteries, steel, antifreeze, waste oil, and electronics. The online Swap-N-Shop is a forum for sales, exchanges, and give-aways of used items. Clothing and other items are collected at the end of the academic year and donated to local organizations. The university is also currently piloting a composting program for landscaping waste.

Jenks Street Improvements
Lanes at the north end of Elm Street at Creek Turnpike will be shifting over onto the new pavement on Tuesday/Dec 1. Since this is not the final layer, temporary striping will be in place. Final striping will be done after the final paving layer is completed.
As Elm Street improvements continue, motorists will be encountering various detours and lane redirection/closures. Temporary striping, barrels, and cones will be placed throughout work zones at 111th Street and Elm Street to direct traffic to the appropriate lanes.
All improvements for this project are scheduled to be completed Fall 2010.
